Hi stampin friends! I have decided to start a fun challenge so I can get to know all of you. 🤗

I have created a card sketch for everyone to design their own card using the same layout.  I have created four different cards myself using the sketch and challenge you to do at least one and share it with us!

Check out my short video on YouTube here where I introduce the sketch here.

Here is the sketch …

Using this template, I came up four cards.  Each totally different from the others to show how one sketch/template is a great springboard that can lead to a variety of designs!

This first one is pretty simple.  It would be great for beginning stampers or a class with multiple projects.

Next I decided to do a Christmas card. Normally I use Garden Green for my Christmas green but decided to give Emerald Envy a try. Not too bad with Cherry Cobbler!  This one is definitely more elaborate than the first card.

One of my favorite touches of this card are the gold accents!  Especially when I embossed the word sparkle (using fine tip glue!) on the sentiment.

I love me some glitter and sparkle (as you can tell above!), but simple nature-inspired creations are more the norm for me.  My favorite embossing folder right now in the Pinewood planks for sure, and especially with a bit of ink on the folder before running it through the Big Shot!

Something to remember is that you don’t have to use the sketch exactly as is.  Staying with the parameters, let your creativity go wild!!  With the last card, I literally turned in on it’s side! 😋

OK, now here is the challenge …

I challenge all of you to design a card using my layout above and post your picture in the comments below or on my YouTube channel on the card sketch video comments.

AND to entice you even more to participate,  I am going to give out a prize to one lucky 🍀 winner chosen at random from those who take the challenge and post a picture of their design!  Deadline to complete the challenge will be December 6 (my birthday!).  Winner will be chosen the morning of December 7 and announced on my Throwback Thursday post that day.  (I will pay for shipping for my domestic US friends but if winner is international, will ask for you to pay for shipping please!)

The lucky winner will receive …

A FREE STAMP SET AND INK PAD!  Yes, you read that right, I am going to give away a Stampin’ Up! photopolymer stamp set and ink pad valued between $24-$33!!  Which set is a surprise though.  But to give you a clue, I used the set in one of the cards in this post.

Can’t wait to see how everyone intereperates sketch!!  Be sure to POST YOUR PICTURES so you get entered into the contest!!!

Until next time stampin’ friends!

Kat ❤️

*** I used the new Stampin’ Blends on three of the four cards and each in a different way.  They are just awesome to play around with!  If you want to know more about them or are interested in purchasing them (and don’t already have a demonstrator), please let me know!  You could also just click the link below in the product list. I would love the opportunity to earn your business!! 😍
