I cannot believe it has been a month since I have been on here last! 😳 So sorry stamping friends!!!  But I do have an awesome card to share as part of our Color Fusers blog hop this month.  Some GREAT fall colors we all used in our creations …

And here is what I have designed with them …

Normally when I create a card, there are two or three stamp sets.  I challenged myself to create this card with just one.  Here is the stamp set and ink I used …

This blog is going to be a bit different for me.  Normally I show the entire process in pictures but today I have decided to just give a basic outline and show the finished card.

I started with cardstock in almost all the colors (Whisper White, Lemon Lime Twist, Fresh Fig and Soft Suede) and a piece of glossy white.  I used the glossy white and created a faux linen effect (a YouTube video on how to do this will be up by 10/5/17 on my Papercrafting by Kat channel – I learned from an awesome demo named Traci Langley!).  I then sponged on the glossy white with Soft Suede.

Next I stamped images on the sponged glossy paper and attached the multiple sheets together.  Dimensions of each sheet: Soft Suede – 4.25 by 11 inches, Lemon Lime Twist – 4 by 5.25 inches, Whisper White – 3.75 by 5 inches, Glossy – 3.5 by 4.75 inches.

I do have the Lemon Lime Twist directly on the card base and the Whisper White raised up on dimensionals.  I then stamped the main flower again on a separate piece of Whisper White and fussy cut it out after using my Aquapainter and Wink of Stella to color it in with the Fresh Fig, Lemon Lime Twist and Pumpkin Pie inks.  Wink of Stella was only used for the flower petals so they would stand out more. 🤗

After coloring in image, I singed it very lightly with the Soft Suede ink to give it a slight vintage look.  Then attached the fussy cut flower with dimensionals over the same stamped image on the glossy paper.

Next I used the same stamps on the inside (less the flower plus the sentiment), sponged the edges with Soft Suede and put a Fresh Fig piece behind.  Dimensions of the paper inside: Fresh Fig 4 by 5.25 inches and Whisper White 3.75 by 5 inches.

I really, really, REALLY enjoy being a part of this blog hop! All the other artists come up with such great designs and the colors that are chosen are so much fun to work with!!

Until next time stamping friends!

Kat ❤️
