Hi stampin’ friends!  It is officially 2018, cannot believe it?!?  Since the 1st is the first Monday of the month, it is our Color Fusers blog hop day! Yay!!

Our colors this month have actually been my favorite so far since I have joined the group.  I just LOVE blues and anything sparkly!!!  <3

Of course I automatically thought of making a traditional card.  But as I continued to look at the combination, I decided that I really wanted to make something different this month instead.  At first I thought of gift wrapping or a bag of sorts but then it struck me!  I wanted to make something with the new mini pizza boxes! 😊

So I decided to do a set of 3×3 mini cards with envelopes to go inside the pizza box.

One of the “colors” we needed to include was glimmer paper or foil sheets.  I could do just one of them but had to do both, of course!  😍

The project this month is made with one of the BRAND NEW stamp sets from Stampin’ Up!’s Occassion catalog that goes live on January 3rd, 2018.  It is Magical Day and I am just in love with it!!!  It is so cute and fun!  I am only used the stamp set (and framelit dies) here in this design but there is a whole suite of products that have been designed to go along with the stamp set: adorable Designer Series Paper (DSP), washing tape and awesome glimmer paper in iridescent, lime green and turquoise.

I stamped one of each of the five main designs to be the focal on the mini cards and used an aqua painter to color them in with just Marina Mist, Soft Sky and Basic Grey (my neutral for this project) inks. The shimmery grey ribbon can be found in the Saleabration catalog that goes live on January 3, 2018 as well.  And it is FREE with any $50 or more purchase! 😊 Not only do you get the grey ribbon free but Bermuda Bay and Calypso Coral ribbons as well in the free pack.  If you want more details, check out my stampin’ store here (after January 3, 2018!).

I then stamped the same sentiment on the inside of each card that I had on the outside of the pizza box.  To make it sparkly, I used the fine-tip glue and then sprinkled some dazzling diamonds glitter on top.  I did this to the outside of the pizza box as well, both the sentiment and the little stars.  This sentiment is in the Magical Day stamp set as well.

I just LOVE how they turned out! The five cards and matching envelopes all fit in the pizza box exactly perfect.  It is a great little gift for a teacher, friend or really anybody!  🤗
